Norfolk status
Scarce.
Formerly restricted to sandy coastal locations, has also been found quite a distance inland.
Coastal records in Norfolk.

Larvae, which have apparently not been found previously in the British Isles, were discovered in Essex and in sand-covered silken tubes attached to the base of the moss Brachythecium albicans (Hedw.) Schimp. in Norfolk 2015.
Adult moths emerged on 7 July 2015 from the material collected at
South Denes in May 2015.
